Solstice Scents Cascade of Gold is part of their Spring 2013 collection. It is a premium fragrance and I received 1/4 full imp in my sampler pack (Non-premium imps are full, premium ones are 1/4).
The official description is sandalwood, white sandalwood, honeysuckle, champa & white lotus.
Cascade of Gold is an utterly amazing, 100% natural and exquisite blend of essential oils, absolutes and Indian attars blended in our rice bran carrier oil. Notes of sandalwood, white sandalwood, honeysuckle, champa and white lotus combine to form a divine and meditative scent that is also very sensual. Cascade of Gold has a base of exotic incensey woods with a very strong amber note that has subtle balsamic undertones. The floral notes are delicately blended so as to add just the right exotic touch to the warm wood and amber notes. It smells like bottled sunset with the last of the days' golden orange rays peeking out mixed with humid deep south air that has been perfumed by a concentration of mid spring blooms. You can almost literally feel a warmth radiating from your skin with this scent on. The champa is the finest quality I've found and it contributes a delicate edge of spice to the blend as well. The florals serenely float at the top of the blend adding a velvety white note for the first 10 minutes. Their voice becomes softer and evolves to a relatively stable blend without morphing that smells warm, sweet, ambery, golden, robust, full bodied, exotic, floral and extremely sexy. Cascade of Gold would make a wonderful blend for yoga, meditation, scrying or just before bed as it has a natural harmony and almost trance inducing properties.
In the imp- woodsy perfume-y
Wet- very heavy on initial application, very perfume-y
Drying- I thought I got a frankincense/resin background without the scent notes. I suppose that's my interpretation of the sandalwood and champa mix? Now reading the notes, I'm definitely getting the "exotic incensey woods". I get a hint of spice as well but nothing I could identify and definitely not cinnamon.
Dry- I don't get warm. I wanted to but its just woodsy incense. And it faded really fast on me.
Verdict- It's nice. Yeah, that's as good of a feeling as I get. I love the idea of a warm exotic desert scent, but I didn't get sexy warm. I got department store perfume version of warm exotic desert scent. I also didn't like that it faded fast on me even after I reapplied a 2nd time. It's a premium fragrance so I don't have a lot and it's more expensive.

BPAL Miss Forcible Review
MISS FORCIBLE
A classic vintage musk.
Both Miss Spink and Miss Forcible scents have a bit of tea splash and biscuit crumbs.
In the imp- commercial high-end department perfume
Wet- very strong, musky, perfume-y, maybe a slight bitterness. It kinda burns my nose a little bit.
Drying- I get the impression of a vintage musky perfume. I definitely don't get any tea or biscuits. It smells well-blended and expensive. A good replacement for a vintage perfume without any alcohol. It's not a delicate scent either. It hits you in the face pretty well. I do get a feminine vibe but not pretty or delicate feminine, like a scent for a CEO. However, I wouldn't wear this at work or anyone with scent issues.
Dry- It becomes softer over time and loses that bitterness I found wet. It becomes more feminine and maybe a little prettier. After two hours, I have to put my nose to my skin but if I walk around I get whiff of it. Maybe I could wear this as a work scent if I applied it 2-3 hours before I got to work.
Verdict: I like it. It's not love and I don't know where I'd wear this to, but I'm glad to have it and the musky quality should age well.

BPAL Coraline Jones
Official Description- BPAL
“What should I do?” asked Coraline.
“Read a book,” said her mother. “Watch a video. Play with your toys. Go and pester Miss Spink or Miss Forcible, or the crazy old man upstairs.”
“No,” said Coraline. “I don't want to do those things. I want to explore.”Dry grass, clean skin, and a little bit of mossy berry.
Miss Spink and Miss Forcible lived in the flat below Coraline's, on the ground floor. They were both old and round, and they lived in their flat with a number of ageing Highland terriers who had names like Hamish and Andrew and Jock. Once upon a time Miss Spink and Miss Forcible had been actresses, as Miss Spink told Coraline the first time she met her.
“You see, Caroline,” Miss Spink said, getting Coraline's name wrong, “both myself and Miss Forcible were famous actresses, in our time. We trod the boards, luvvy. Oh, don't let Hamish eat the fruitcake, or he'll be up all night with his tummy.”
“It's Coraline. Not Caroline, Coraline,” said Coraline.

Solstice Scents- Blossom Jam Tea Cakes
Solstice Scent's spring collection is my first order from this company. I've heard great things and hopefully it lives up to my expectations.
BPAL Ambergris
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab is doing a Limited Edition single note collection. Every month there is a new note that comes and goes with the lunacy. They've had Madagascar Vanilla Rum, French Tobacco (to die for), Hungarian Paprika, Rum-Soaked French Tonka, Spanish Red Carnation, Haitian Vetiver and a few others so far.
This month is Ambergris.

Solstice Scents- Spring Scents
I just got my package of samples from Solstice Scents. I ordered the sampler pack on the 5th (Friday) and received it Wednesday so pretty impressive. It was $19.50 for 8 scents.
I did preliminary sniffs right out of the mailbox without reading the notes.
