Moonalisa Dr. Bombay 4-in-1 Gel
Dr. Bombay 4-in-1 is a multi-purpose bath product. It can be used as shower gel, shampoo, bubble bath or as a delicate fabric wash. I personally use it as shampoo.
I've been using these three since I received my Easter baskets (3rd week of March?). I've used dandruff shampoo forever. I have really oily skin and hair and anytime I try to use another product within a week or two I have flakes again. The other issue is that I just recently colored my hair dark green so I can't wash it as often without stripping the color fast. Since using this a little more than 3 weeks ago, I've had no flakes. I mean nothing. I don't understand. I did have a hairstylist tell me once that the dandruff shampoo was causing the issues and it was just a vicious cycle. However, since nothing else worked and I didn't want to run around with flakes, I just didn't switch.
Anyway, about the scent- Dr. Bombay is a blend of essentials oils including blood orange, patchouli and ginger. Off the bat, I love blood orange. Patchouli and ginger are neutral for me, pretty good not my favorites. Dr. Bombay is pure earthy orange. It's tart, citrus-y, warm and earthy. I wouldn't necessary say patchouli if I didn't know the scent notes. It smells like picking blood oranges from the orchards. Earthy. I think the ginger just adds a warmness but not spicy.
The gel is on the thin side, clear, very easy to spread and lathers well.
This came with my Herbal & Citrus Easter basket in a 4oz. Usually $11 for 8oz.
Unfortunately, the ingredient list is very tiny and hard to read. I can't find an ingredient list on the website.
Verdict: Love! The scent is perfect (especially for summer) and as a shampoo I haven't used anything else since I started.
