Moonalisa is an e-tailer with a couple very large releases per year (usually a Halloween, Winter, Valentine, Easter and maybe a Summer). She has a devoted following but her sales sellout extremely fast (like within the hour fast) and her TAT (turn-around-time) is very long (usually around 2 months). Her products are very much worth it to me and a lot of others.
This is my first Bubbling Bath Brew though I have several others to review soon. I ordered 1 of each of her 3 Easter Baskets this year (they came in foody/fruity, chocolate and herbal/citrus). Grapefruit Haven is from the herbal/citrus basket. The bath powder itself was very fine and dissolved easily in the bath water (no sitting on salt messes). It made a good amount of bubbles, more than usual indie bath products I think though less than retail ones. I look forward to seeing how the others compare.
In the bag, it kinda smells like bathroom cleaner. Grapefruit Margarita (kinda salty smelling) bathroom cleaner... don't be scared. (Actually, be scared, I just re-read the ingredients and it specifically says don't sniff the dry powder).
However, I'm disappointed with the scent. Grapefruit Haven itself is awesome. It's super citrus hit-you-over-the-head sour/sweet grapefruit when I first dumped it in (used maybe a 1/3?). I want to bottle that scent and slap a "happiness" label on it. However, it lasted maybe 5 minutes. It was sadness. I tried adding more but the same thing happened. Sigh... though if this is offered again in the 4-in-1 or conditioner, I want gallons.
Here's an unopened bag to see how much you get.
Ingredients: sea salts, baking soda, corn starch, citric acid, lanthanol (a biodegradable humectant that creates long-lasting bubbles), rice bran, apricot kernel, jojoba, and sweet almond oils and scent.
